Well built, more like a piece of luggage. Almost too good to throw into my ice fishing sled. Good for ice rods or regular fishing rods. As long as the length is under 37". Only issue is the depth. Unless you have small reels, two would be very tight.

IT HAD NO INFORMATION ABOUT THE LENGTH, WIDTH, OR DEPTH, SO I ORDERED 2 BLINDLY, AND I WAS DISAPPOINTED ABOUT THE LENGTH. YOU CAN ONLY GET ONE VERY SHORT ROD IN THIS Case SAFELY, IF THAT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CASE, UNLESS YOU PLAN TO USE IT ICE FISHING.

I usually fish with a fly rod; however, it always is great to have an ultralight spinning outfit on hand just in case the weather does not want to cooperate. Although produced to store short ice rods, I use this rod case to transport my ultralight outfit to the stream just in case I need to switch rods. It easily can accommodate a 2-piece ultralight rod and the reel attached. Sure, there are many ultralight storage tubes on the market, but not at this price.

I would not buy this item again. There is only enough room for one combo and it has NO accessory storage pockets. If your looking for storing a few ice rods might work for you, this might work for you, but if thats all you need buy a PVC tube and a few end caps at the hardware store.
