These are quality pants, good fabric and all the touches of well tailored trousers (notch in rear waist band, etc.). These are fall/winter/early spring pants, not "works for all seasons" 100s. They are trousers not jeans, so if you are 34 low, order your real waist size.

Beautiful fabric. Bought for my 30 year old son, accountant. He felt a little too much fabric in the rear thigh area although he has an ample gluteus. He loved the pants, taking to a tailor to customize a little. I loved the way they fit, but he is liking the "skinny" . Nice fit in the tush.

Hickey Freeman is a high-quality maker that produces both under its own label as well as for Burberry's. Not many folks know this, but there it is. These slacks, then, are a great buy for very nice goods (fabric). Pick-stiching on pocket trims is a great touch. Be advised, though, these run a little trim so if you are truly a comfortable 34 in other European-style dress slacks (not jeans), order a 34, but, order a size up and get a 36" if you're a tight 34 or closer to a 35. Perfect for work--especially if you take public transportation--without having to worry about investing the cash in a pair of Incotex or Isaia slacks (brands that I'm so grateful to STP for carrying).
