I read the other reviews and feel the same. These are a terrific value! The fabric is fine, perfect for summer. I bought these to hike in, but will more likely wear them around town. The fabric is light and durable, typical of what I choose for hiking pants in warm weather. I love the amount of... Read More

I'm tall & high waisted and usually need a long rise pant. These fit well and are a super comfortable fabric.

Fits great everywhere except the waist is sized about 4 sizes up. I could tell as soon as I took them out of the package that they were an odd shape. Otherwise they seem fine but obviously I can't wear them.

Too bad they didn't fit. Size options were limited but I was really excited that the 12s were available, since that's what I usually wear. The waist was huge--more like a 16 than a 12--and I was so disappointed because the fabric, color, and style were perfect. I had to send them back but I'll look for them again.

Having purchased a pair of these capri's in charcoal and liking the fit and comfort I purchases a pair in black when they became available. The black pair unfortunately had a poorly sewn contrast stitching with very odd placement. It's probably possible to remove because it doesn't appear to be a seam it more decorative(?) Still the quality is pretty good considering the price.

These pants are very comfortable and easy to move in. I took them out on a quick hike in the rain and they dried very quickly. I scrambled over a few boulders and they held up just fine. My only complaint is that the snaps at the waist tend to come undone.

    • Answer These capris cover my knees nicely, but my inseam is short, only 29". They dry very quickly and pockets are mesh; one back pocket zips; one Velcros shut. According to reviews and my experience, sizing can be inconsistent, and some have white top stitching which looks weird on dark colors. One reviewer colored with a Sharpie, which I may do also. Also some of top stitching on pant hems is poorly done. My security button fell off immediately and the top waist snap does not secure well. This was on my second pair; the first pair was perfect quality, just large. I am 5'2", 140 lbs; with the 15% stretch I took a size 8. The size 10 pulled down without unsnapping. They are very comfortable, and I am wearing them now.

    • Answer I am 5'8" and, while standing, these fall just below my knees. Sitting in golf cart, they fall at knees. They do dry quickly. Left rear pocket has zipper and right rear pocket has Velcro closure. Two side pockets are fairly deep.

    • Answer I am about 5'3. I have these capris in both black and grey in a size 14. They are made from the same material as the North Face swim shorts that I have, so I would imagine that they would dry quickly. They have drawstrings at the cuff that you could tighten to prevent them from riding up over your knees while you are in a sitting position. When I am standing they come to just below my knee. I was very pleased with the fit and quality of these pants considering the low price point. I would wear them if I was going rafting. They are also very comfortable.

    • Answer the material appears as though it will dry fast.. And my size (14) comes to just below the knees when standing, and covers the top and 1/2 down the knee when I am sitting in them. They have an articulated knee and pull tabs for tightening the capris leg opening. I have not worn them in the rain or when doing creek crossings..

    • Answer I think they would be great for river rafting, they would dry fast (although I haven't worn them on a river yet to give a true experiential comment) I am sure they would. I wear these all the time. They look nice, yet they are very utilitarian.

    • Answer The pair I got hit just below the knee. They do have an elastic drawstring cord (mine were missing the cord on one leg) so you could tighten them to keep them from slipping up above your knee. Great fabric...seems like it would dry quickly!

    • Answer They're very lightweight so I'm guessing they would dry quickly. They fall about one and a half to two inches below my knee. They should be comfortable to wear over a bathing suit, so they should be great for rafting.

    • Answer I haven't worn them yet, but the material appears to be quick drying. I would wear them rafting.

    • Answer Yes to all! I have to mention, however, that if you get wet, these are thin and may be more clingy than you want. I used to raft frequently, and I would wear these for rafting in a heartbeat.

    • Answer I think they would probably work for you. I wore them in Costa Rica and they dried quickly. An incredible value!

    • Answer These capris cover my knees and unless you have extremely long thighs like Teri Hatcher, they should cover yours too. There is a cinch-cord at the hem that I have not yet tried. The pants are made of a thin stretchy material (85 polyester/15 spandex), so they are light and should dry quickly, but am not sure how durable they are. I find the blend in the waistband to be too stretchy for serious technical activities - it feels like you could accidentally get pants-ed.

    • Answer I bought 2 pair to be ready for summer. I put them in storage and have not worn them. The fabric looks and feels like it is made to dry quickly, avoid snags, and pack well. The length is longer than regular shorts. My 14's just cover my knees and I have a 32" inseam. I ordered one pair and then another. I was impressed with the fit, fabric, and extra length in the legs. I plan to wear while gardening, working around the pool, and running to the store. They have no defined waist, pack a belt or something to cinch them up as needed. They should work well for rafting.
