When I ordered this I was worried that the Manduka Black Mat Pro would not fit into the designated mat slot but it does with plenty of room to spare! This bag is really roomy inside (even though it doesn't necessarily seem that way) and the organization is great. I can store my yoga/gym clothes, a water bottle, eyeglass case, a yoga strap, a pair of shoes and mat cleaning towel and spray with still some room to spare.

Inside the bag there is an organizer with slots for cards, two open pockets (size of a smartphone, each) and a slash pocket behind the organizer. The opposite side has a velcro slash pocket. There here are two mesh pockets inside for water bottles (I keep my eyeglasses case and my mat spray in these). Accessible from outside the bag- between the straps- are two additional pockets with small velcro closures-- one pocket is deep and the other is shallow.

I have mostly worn it as a tote bag because my mat weighs 7 pounds and the bag doesn't sit well as a backpack with so much weight on one side- otherwise the backpack feature is great. The closure does not hurt my shoulder thought I would say the arm hole for the straps could be longer.

Overall, I think that this is a good deal for this bag particularly if you're able to use a coupon so I would highly recommend it

The fabric is tough and durable, and it holds a TON. I chose this bag because I wanted the backpack option it offers, and it is very cleverly designed, with backpack straps that are discreetly hidden in tiny outer compartments (if you don't have small hands, it might be difficult putting the straps back in, but I didn't have any problem. The bag is very sturdy, and I expect to be using it for years to come!

The buckle that turns it into 2 backpack straps connects at the center of one of the handles. Even though there's a cover thing over it, I could still feel the buckle when the bag was empty. Seems like it would hurt your shoulder if it were full so sending it back.
