This is a very nice small reel. I purchased it for my 3 weight Redington Tempt 7" 6" fly rod. The cabela reel, which I was using (and like) was a little heavy. This balances nicely with the pole and will use it, keeping my other reel for backup.

I have yet to use this reel but I have one in a bigger line wt. The reel has the feel of a more expensive reel with precision fitting parts and a more than capable line capacity. The drag is smooth when a fish is pulling line out. Also the reel is light weight with a nice balance when combined with a rod. Yes I would recommend this reel to anyone
