I love these sunglasses. Bought them for a trip to Jamaica and the lenses are excellent - better than any of my Oakley's or Native's. On the beach all day for many days straight and my eyes never were strained from the glare and could clearly see the fish swimming around in the water. I got the Sunset Mirror lenses and everybody complimented them all week. Only drawback is that the frames and temples are slick, so they don't stay up as well as I would like, but I always wear some sort of retainer which helps them stay pushed up. Frames are not for a small head, but they come out to the side the perfect amount so that there is no glare coming in from the side and the frame is out of your field of vision. Great purchase at a great price!!

Glad I purchased these glasses. Frames are sturdy and built well. The glass lenses are exceptionally clear. I chose the orange finish and they look as they do on site. Can't wait to go fishing w these shades. Fish on!!

The usual great Hobie sunglasses quality, but I was surprised to find that the hydrophobic coating really does seem to repel salt mist... though sometimes a bigger droplet of saltwater will stick. But the bigger droplets of saltwater you can see coming, and bow your head, so I'm really pleasantly surprised that they do so well with mist, which can be hard to escape on an open boat. Not being sure how scratch resistant the hydrophobic treatment is, I'm going to be careful how I dry them after rinsing them at home... but it'll be well worth the bother, to ensure they continue to be so repellent.

Hobie sunglasses are very underrated. They stack up against any of famous brands that dominate the market today. Hobie lenses are excellent @ water and the frame will last for years. The Hobie polarized mirror lenses are always the most vibrate of any lens color that I have and I have them all (MJ, Costa, Revo...) Buy today if you want to look cool @ the pool or beach.
