This jacket is incredibly lightweight, without the complications of down (such as waterlogging, catching fire, etc). There are 3 pockets, all zippered. This coat makes a great layer on super cold days, and works fine by itself in chilly weather. Sizing is accurate.

Nice jacket for Fall. Fits true to size, I'm short-waisted but this jacket is not too long. Inside pocket large enough for cell phone.

I bought this jacket for layering purposes during different travels and for chilly Florida evenings. I love the color and style, however, the sleeves ran a bit short on me. I am keeping it anyway, but for ladies 6'-0" tall or more the sleeve length may be problematic. It is very warm without bulk and I see myself getting a lot of use out of it. Great price too!

Looks like it will do the job well.I need a lightweight warm jacket for fall trip we are planning. I think this will serve well.

Carhartt runs big, so order a size smaller. I'm 5'4" 125lbs and an XS fits snug. This jacket is warm for cooler nights. I haven't worn in cooler months yet, so not sure how it fares once fall comes.

  • Question “Is this jacket compressible enough where it can stuff into a stuff-sack?”

Asked on 4/15/2015 5:17:14 AM by Road Warrior from Virginia
    • Answer Yes, this jacket could be rolled into a stuff sack.
Answered on 4/15/2015 6:35:09 AM by Ellen from Olympia WA
    • Answer It could be. It wouldn't compress like a down sweater, but you certainly could wrap it up and put it into a bag.

    • Answer Hi! It fits really well. Mother caveat is that the wearer is long legged with a shorter torso, so it fits perfectly! It is great for barn chores!

    • Answer I am 5'4", and the jacket hits at my upper thigh. I does (barely) pass the bend over test for me. If you are taller than 5'5', it may not.
