the stretchy and durable fabric and large head opening when the zipper is open (large enough to fit through with your helmet on) make this an ideal windbreaker for climbing. it's quite light, too.

This jacket is good for runs or bike rides when there is a little wind. Similar to the Ferrosi jackets which I also own. It is a very thin jacket, and is made of a stretchy material. Don't expect it to provide much warmth. It is more suited to wearing during active activities

The stretchy fabric is very convenient when climbing and it does a fair job at shedding water and blocking wind. The hood is adjustable only by the zipper. It does not have its own adjustable cords. The sleeve cuffs are nice since they can fold over your hand to keep protected from the elements when belaying. Just be aware, the sleeve cuffs are not fitted so they have a kind of boxy fit. But I just roll them up once and they are perfectly fine.
This thing weighs 9oz. on my scale, and packs down in its pocket to the size of a thick wallet of so. Very convenient when on rock and need to clip it to my harness.
