perfect for my wide yoga-toes, I bought them a half size larger to accommodate my orthotics and they couldn't feel better. the heel and arch design work well to absorb shock for walking on hard surfaces, especially if you have low back issues. they clean up easily with spray cleaner, I was concerned... These shoes were very nice and seemed like they would be comfortable but were to big. I wear a 7 1/2 and I should have ordered a 7. The reason for the 3 stars is because the right shoe was wider than the left. It was like if someone had used a shoe stretcher to stretch the shoe. For this reason I will not be ordering a smaller size.

Very nice, comfortable casual shoes. The fit is true to size, and while I'd probably have preferred a different accent color than the orange on the blue pair that I got, it's not a deal-breaker. They're also light and will likely travel well. Thanks, STP!

I am very happy with the fit and look of this shoe. I wore them around my home and to run errands, and no blisters or "wearing in" at all. I will know more after wearing them on vacation!
The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is it appears that they may be a little difficult to keep clean. Then again, they are light-colored canvas shoes, so I guess I am not surprised. Overall, very pleased with these shoes and the price.

Love these sneaks. They're comfortable and good looking too.

I think they'll be comfy and will be good for year-round. I wear a 10.5 and Chacos size 10 fit me just fine.

    • Answer I usually wear 8.5 regular width. These were huge wide and clunky so I returned them. They are also for a foot that is not only wider but thinker from top to bottom.

    • Answer On previous answer I did a typo of thinker. I meant thicker

    • Answer These seem to be just right in size...All the Chacos I"ve gotten have been on the mark in sizing!
Answered on 6/24/2014 8:27:57 AM by Miss Mohican from Eastern Oregon
    • Answer I would say 'large'. I wear a 10.5 and never know if I need a 10 or 11, and the size 10 was plenty roomy.
Answered on 6/24/2014 12:44:18 PM by Angie G. from TN
    • Answer When I first got them, they felt a bit big. I took them back to the store to return them, but the sales rep told me Chacos fit a bit looser and to try them for a day or two. I did, and after 1/2 a day, I was very happy with the way they fit. The felt a bit loose, but after wearing them, they formed around my foot well, and I didn't get any blisters or anything. LOVE THEM!

  • Question “How are these shoes in the rain?”
Asked on 6/23/2014 4:50:20 PM by Nancy from IN
    • Answer I have the white ones and I do not advise wearing them in the rain if you wish to maintain the prestine white color.
Answered on 6/23/2014 5:24:19 PM by W from MN
    • Answer I haven't worn mine in wet weather, but I'm going to Scottguard them to be on the safe side (and I'm sure they could be waterproofed also...somewhat...in a similar manner)
Answered on 6/23/2014 7:34:45 PM by Angie G. from TN
    • Answer I bought some other ones for rain wear, so can't say about these.
Answered on 6/24/2014 5:21:20 AM by JB from NH
    • Answer Well they are cotton~ so rain might be awful with these! I sprayed mine with waterproofing to avoid stains....maybe that would help you in the rain.
Answered on 6/24/2014 8:30:58 AM by Miss Mohican from Eastern Oregon
    • Answer A light rain is fine. Pouring rain would definitely soak through. I got them soaking wet and they wrinkled a bit on the top across the toes, but dried fine and did not shrink.

    • Answer The soles are quite rigid with solid arch support.
Answered on 5/21/2014 7:49:05 AM by W from Minnesota
    • Answer These shoes are awesome. The soles are flexible, like 'keds'. I bought both the white and brown ones. Extremely comfy once the canvas softens up.
Answered on 5/21/2014 8:00:51 AM by TJ from Ohio
    • Answer It is not too rigid but at the same time it's not too flexible. I am a preschool teacher so I am on my feet a lot moving around and my feet are never sore at the end of the day. I have high arches so it's hard to find a good shoe. This one is great!
Answered on 5/21/2014 11:36:19 AM by MLVoss from Michigan
    • Answer I would say no. Definitely not like the soles on other Chaco shoes, but I think it is better than a Ked or Sketchers walking shoe.
Answered on 5/23/2014 10:44:25 AM by Anonymous from Idaho
    • Answer Sorry. Guess I should have read more carefully. The sole is flexible, not rigid. I really love how these shoes support my feet but are more casual and stylish. I wore them walking around San Diego for a week on vacation and my back didn't hurt at the end of each day. LOVE THEM!
