Lovin' my new Chacos, getting them broken in for a trip to Belize in 2 weeks. They have such great arch support and structure, compared to regular "flip flops," even some of the better and pricier brand names. I had to agree with most reviewers, tho, that they tend to run slightly small. I usuall... Read More

I like the flip flops and they seem sturdy. I like the colors. I went with sierra trading posts suggestion to order down for half sizes. That was a mistake, I think their sizes have changed that recommendation. I wear 11.5 so I went with the 11. My heel hung off the back and the straps were tight and hard to slip on. So I'd say if you're a half size then go up to the next size.
Sierra did a excellent job on the exchange and made it hassle free. I only had to pay a few extra bucks to ship.

Ordered these because of previous positive experience with Chaco's... Not that impressed with the Fathom sandals. In other Chacos I have worn a size 11 and ordered the same size for these... problem is the straps are too loose allowing my foot to wallow around if doing anything more than walking on flat surface. It's a nuisance for sure and not one I had with previous pair of flip flops, but in the end will keep them (great deal) and use them for errands around town. Quality seems good and I expect them to last years

I bought these for my boyfriend after owning my own Chaco flip flops for about 5 years now. Mine have taken quite a bit of abuse in all sorts of conditions, and are still in fantastic shape, so I imagine his will survive similarly. The grey color was a bit darker than in the photos, but I was nervous it would be too bright, so it turned out to be perfect. He normally wears a 10.5-11, and the 11s fit perfectly. The only thing I noticed is that these are now made in China, whereas I believe they were previously made in the US. Maybe that's just what happens when a small outdoor company gets so much more popular?

As usual, I got a fantastic deal on these through Sierra Trading Post. I like waiting for the awesome deal offers that come up through Facebook. With such a great deal, it's hard to be bothered by having to pay shipping. Thanks STP!

My son is very tall and wears size 15 shoes so you can imagine how difficult it is to find reasonably priced ANYTHING for him. He called once he received these and told me they were great and the fit was good.

    • Answer There are all kinds of conversion charts available to determine what size you need to select. Not sure if Chacos has one specifically for their own products. Typically, a woman needs to subtract 1 1/2 to 2 sizes from her shoe size to find the men's size she would wear. Here's a link to one site out of about 10 that came up in a simple search: http://www.shoesize.com/women-to-men-converter/ Hope this helps.

    • Answer If you are a full 9.5, you need the 8. I am a 9, with a thick instep, and had to return the men's 7 for the 8...be aware that all the weight of this substantial thing is on the straps...

    • Answer I am sorry, I am not sure what the conversion might be. They are great sandals though!

    • Answer My understanding is women wear one or more size smaller in a men's shoe. When it runs to Chacos specifically, they run wide to begin with and my daughter usually wears a mens 8 wide sneaker or sandal, she wears a 7 M in men's Chacos. I think they're all M width, which is quite wide.So I'd guess you need to go down at least one full size. Chacos don't come in half sizes, so you should try a size 8 mens. I usually order 2 sizes when ordering a shoe I haven't worn before. It'll cost you the $ 6 or $7 return shipping charge using their label but it's worth it.
