Ok I must tell you that this jacket is the perfect rain/hiking/anytime jacket. Unlike most rain jackets it feel soft on the exterior and it also has a light mesh lining which keeps the dampness from rain away from your body, also keeps you cool or warm depending on the elements. A little boxy for a woman's jacket, but good quality for the price.

The jacket looks just line it does on the model. Its a little frumpy and not very flattering. I bought it for backpacking and it's a little cumbersome for that. However, it's a good rain jacket and more functional for work and everyday life than what I ended up buying for backpacking, so I will keep it in my car for emergencies.

The only thing that would make it better for me would be for the option of hiding the hood in the collar. Ask me in a year when I can determine how well the "waterproof" stands up to washing.

Love the raincoat and style. It has a mesh lining in the body.. My only wish is that it had mesh in the sleeves too. The sleeves are lined in nylon type material which is great in spring, but too warm in hot weather. I had a raincoat that had a mesh lining in the sleeves and have not been able to find another.

I got this jacket hoping for something to wear on my bus/train commute during light spring rains. It fits the bill perfectly. The Large is just a little roomy on a 5'7" 140# frame, so layering with a fleece on cold days is not a problem. I've used the jacket in light rains & it performed well, but I'm not sure how it will do in heavy downpours. In the first 2 showers, the jacket has some areas where water pooled instead of beading off, which concerns me. The hood, however, is a bonus. It really works well to protect my face & glasses. The jacket also packs well for days when I'm not sure how the weather will turn out.
