I ordered the womens size 41. I normally wear a mens US 8 or 8.5. These fit me perfect, with a snug fit in the ankle, and plenty of room in the toe box. I have feet with wide toes and skinny ankles, so sometimes I have a hard time finding boots that don't pinch my toes, and at the same time fit snugly around my heels. These are very comfortable so far, but I have only worn them around the house.( I'm recovering from a fractured fibula from April 15th so no hiking so far.) The memory foam seems to really adapt to the shape of my foot. These boots seem to have very good shock absorption with the midsoles being somewhat giving on hard surfaces. These have a nice rocker feel to the sole instead of that Frankenstein foot feeling that you get from some hiking boots.
The only thing I'm not too sure about is the long term durability. I see that there is a seam in the back of the fabric lining right where the heel will rub. I have had trouble with boots in the past that gave me blisters because the seam rubbed against my heel when they got a little worn. Overall the quality looks pretty good.
I generally don't care for boots with Gore-tex because I feel that they just make my feet sweat since I do most of my hiking in dry weather. If I am on snow then I am wearing ski boots usually. If I have to wade through shallow water then just a treated leather boot is sufficient to keep my feet dry. If I am hiking in rain, then really nothing will prevent my feet from getting wet because the wet brush will soak down through the tops of the boots and get in no matter what. Even if I wear gaiters, the water runs down my legs under the gaiters, and seeps in to the boots. I cannot hike with rain pants on because the sweat just clams up the inside unless we are talking about winter when it is cold enough, in which case I am usually wearing ski boots anyway. Well, I guess I just wish the manufacturers would make old fashioned leather boots and let us get out the snow seal like in the old days.
Anyway, I think I will like these boots fine.

I owned a size 8 Haglofs boot and fits me perfect. For this one I ordered the European size 39 which supposedly in Haglofs charts is equivalent to US 7.5. It was so big probably a size 8.5 to 9 US. Also the height description under STP Specs is 5". Actually it is 7.5" to 8." I have to returned it.
