These shoes are awesome. They look good, they feel god. they come with two sets of insoles and three sets of arch support inserts. Lightweight. I wear size 7 regular shoes and my feet are wider that regular. Size 39 in Giro fits well, as it has a narrower toe box.

Well made, nice fit around the foot. I wear a wide running shoe - 6 or 6 1/2 - because the front of my foot is wide. I can wear some normal, B width shoes. I first ordered the size 37 but exchanged them for the 37.5 which was better. I actually have minor bunions so I leave the Velcro toe-strap at its loosest. The toe box is a little snug as some readers have mentioned. I have now worn them outside for five different rides and they are getting more comfortable. The longest ride I took them on so far was only 22 miles so I don't know how they will feel after 50 miles or more, but, each ride is more comfortable. Very nice that these shoes come with three different arch supports ('large' is for high arches which I have). I have the Look clipless pedals and they work well with this shoe. I had the cleats moved forward a little from the suggested, neutral position because that feels like it is directly under the ball of my foot. It is worth getting that position correct/comfortable. One petty point - I really like the white/silver (I have only had black shoes before) and I think they call attention to themselves which is great if you are fast but a little embarrassing for someone who is slower like I am.

I actually was looking for smaller cycling shoes as my others are a little too roomy. I think the problem with this is that the toe box is too pointy and my big toe was too squished, even though the general length of the shoe fit okay. I do have long toes, so perhaps these would work better for someone else.

It is quite strange that people reviewing expect carbon sole road shoes to fit like their street shoes. I guess it depends on what type of cyclist you are. Leisure, touring, club rider, competitive, etc. The Espadas and Factress models are meant to be low volume, but not uncomfortable. Also, once cleats are mounted, your heel will slide back and the shoes will feel one size larger. So, don't judge the fit of the shoes without mounting the cleats on them first. I'm a size 6M street shoe and the size 37 fit is perfect, and they are not too narrow either. Got the 37.5 but they were too big after cleat mounting.

The shoes run one size small, ever for Giro. We ended up having to exchange them for the next size up despite ordering the size of my girlfriend's last pair of Giro. Once that was done, the shoes look and fit great! They have a classic 3 Velcro strap design, the outer is synthetic, but lack the cheap feel that most Shimano shoes have. The carbon plate on the base of the shoe is nicely finished and adds to the quality look of the shoe. These are pretty light and efficiently transfer power to the pedals. I wish they had replaceable toe and heel pads, but that's usually a feature reserved for top of the line shoes. Overall, these were a fantastic buy my girlfriend and I couldn't be happier with them.

I usually wear a size 7-7.5, I ordered a 39 and should have ordered a half size larger, they fit, but only if I wore thin sock and there's not much toe room. I ended up returning them for another pair of Giro in 39.5 and they have more room in the toe, better fit.
