While the casserole is a good small size and handles provide good grip - the finish is really crude.
Porcelain glase is uneven, speck of dirt under the glaze, the lid looks like it is cracked -UNDER the glaze.

    While the casserole is a good small size and handles provide good grip - the finish is really crude.

    It is made in China , and probably in a factory that needs better quality control and sanitary inspection.
    I will keep it as it is intended for my own use , but would never give it as a gift.
    It just looks like a deep discount store item.

    not as white and as fine finish as i expected. but seems good enough to stand high heat in the oven.
