Very comfortable foot bed for someone who needs support in the arch.. Leather is sturdy and will get more comfortable with wear. Color is medium brown/slightly reddish (not dark), which is great for me. I like the mid height (I am 5'2", petite build) and the snug fit. I usually wear a size 8 and h... Read More

These will be part of my steampunk outfit - lots of buckles to add things to. They fit true to size, and are very comfortable. They come mid-calf on me (I am tall), which is fine for longer skirts.

Wolverine makes my favorite footwear; everything of theirs fits like it was custom-made for me. (Note, I have weird feet: narrow, flat arches, and tiny ankles and calves, so your mileage may vary.) Anyway, these boots are great: immaculately well constructed, completely comfortable, no heel slip like I sometimes experience with non-adjustable taller boots. Combo leather/rubber sole has good traction, unlike the annoying and pointless leather-only soles I often find on luxe footwear. Leather was stiff at first, but took exactly one wear to break in, now like the proverbial second skin. Fabric lining not as luxurious as their 1000 Mile series, but the price point is proportional, so no complaints. Look is killer, both tough and classy. NO idea why these are factory seconds. Would def buy again, and am fighting the urge to buy a pair in black too.

These are great looking boots but best suited for feet that are not too wide and have a low instep. Initially not that comfortable for me but hoping the leather will relax a little.

I always buy boots on line and end up sending them back......but these boots are a keeper! They are made well and have a stylish edge to them. Love them with skinny jeans and leggings. Tired of my tall boots and these are a refreshing change. They are rather long in the toe area but I have wide feet and this seems to help. I didn't go wrong with these!

  • Question “my calf size is 14" but these boots' calf size is 13". will there be a major problem??”
Asked on 11/29/2013 10:08:06 PM by MCA from San Francisco
    • Answer The size 8 boot that I purchased has a calf circumference of 13" and the item description online gives the same calf circumference. It's possible that the calf circumference may increase a bit with larger shoe sizes. If you have a 14" calf, you will not fit in the size 8 boot, I can guarantee that. The leather is stiff and will not stretch to fit a larger calf.

    • Answer I know after while leather do give in a little, but if you wear thicker socks and push your legging all the way down your boots in your boots, I think it will be some what tight, and that will be a problem. If you really like them purchase them and if you think they are to tight then return them.
