I reviewed these earlier - had to return the first pair due to a flaw in the leather. They finally got my size back in stock so I took a shot and ordered another pair. WOW! I was so glad I did. The first time I wore these boots was an all day Christmas shopping trip. They were so comfortable. I wear...

Normally wear a 7 1/2 so ordered the 7 as suggested and they fit perfect. The leather is so soft that they don't push on my toes even though it's a narrow toe box. Boots are very light weight because of the soft leather.

Love Love Love these boots. Pleasantly surprised with the comfort. I did order my true size and they fit perfect. The shaft is a bit lose so it is good for tucking in my jeans. The color was even nicer than what was shown on the website. They were just what I was looking for. Would highly recommend!

I ordered my regular size 8 but the boots are too big. I can't get a 7.5 as they are are sold out so have to return the boots. I love the boots. The quality is great and I have a little larger calves and they work great. Disappointed can't get the right size.

These boots look great, although there is not enough room in the shaft to tuck pant legs in to, and I don't have big calves at all. The leather is really nice. I ordered a half size down from normal and they fit great but are a little tight on the top of the instep. Someone mentioned that the leather smells great. I'm not so sure it's the leather that smells. Smells more like water proof spray to me. Great boots at an incredible price. The first place I saw them, which was the online site of a local store, they were $299. With the added discount I paid a lot less than half that. Always pays to Google what you find to see if some place else has it cheaper! Sierra Trading rocks!

Love these boots. They are beautifully made, sturdy but still feminine, beautiful toe shape. BUT, I have to agree with the sizing problems others have had.
Definitely order a 1/2 size smaller than you usually take. I am a solid size 8 but that size was huge and I had to order the 7.5 which fit perfectly!

No, the strap is stitched in next to the zipper. Unless you are willing to cut the leather there, it is not removable.

The strap is sewn in on the side where the zipper is, and the metal stud is not a snap, but just a kind of rivet attachment, so the answer is no, unless you had a shoe repair store remove it permanently.

The strap is not removable and it's a false snap. The strap moves it is attached in the front and back on either side of the zipper.
