I have foot & boot issues..lol. Generally only wear Boulets or Corrals. Hesitantly ordered these fully expecting to have to return them. Put them on...they fit like a glove...and I have wide feet! Wore them for a couple hours, having older shoes along so I could change when my feet started to hurt. ... Read More

I wore these boots for about six hours out of the box. Super comfortable and without any socks. I did need a boot jack to remove them. I didn't put them back in their box yet and the fantastic fragrance of the boots wafts from my bedroom. I love them. This is my second Sonora Boot. What a deal Sierra! Don't hesitate get them ASAP; you won't be sorry.

This is my second pair, and yes, they run a tad small, but just a tad. I can wear both the the 8 1/2 and 9 comfortably. The leather is soft and buttery. The zippers are high quality. I am so happy Sierra found one more pair in their warehouse!

These are very well-made boots. They are somewhat heavy because of the soles, but I have worn them all day with no discomfort. The toe box was snug at first, but they are stretching. They have more arch support than most boots. The leather feels thick (in a good way.) I wouldn't say it looks "burnished," just regular black leather. The metal accents do look burnished, which I like because it's not flashy. They look more western than I thought from the pictures: the toe curves up and is more square than I anticipated. I won't wear them with slacks or a work dress, but they are great with jeans, leggings, or a casual dress.

These are great boots, They fit perfect, comfortable, and really gorgeous. I purchased the black (cow) they are black but have a lot of greyish attributes throughout the boot. Would love to find more in this style and color for what I paid for them.

  • Question “What is the difference in color between Black and Black cow? ”

Asked on 8/9/2015 5:04:13 PM by thomasjnj from michigan
    • Answer Not much difference in color, really, the Black Cow had more waxy white stuff on it (rubs off I assume, did not try) and the leather was a little stiffer. I love these boots, I put Leather Honey on them and have worn them a whole lot since they came in a few months ago, they are still beautiful, as well as durable and comfortable. I have these in black and now brown. Love them!!

    • Answer I have the black pair, but I'm thinking that the black cow is more like a charcoal. If you plan to purchase these boots I'm sure you'll love them. I had a hard time finding my size, because I generally wear an 8 In the Sonora I need the 7.5. Wish I knew more about the color, but the quality of the boot in any color is very good.

    • Answer The strap is sewn in on the side where the zipper is, and the metal stud is not a snap, but just a kind of rivet attachment, so the answer is no, unless you had a shoe repair store remove it permanently.
