I love that the waist band doesn't cut into me (muffin top? what muffin top?) and that they stay in place while riding. Bought them for an extended bike trip I'm doing in a few weeks, and was specifically looking for comfort for longer rides, 30-40 miles. These work! I'm a 12-14, and bought the ... Read More

I purchased the size up just because bike gear tends to be too tight. I bet my normal size would have been fine.
The leg elastic does not grab and the length is good.

Super-soft fabric and good pad on these shorts but the pad doesn't move very well with your body because the fabric has so much give. I bought the extra large and I usually wear a 12. I probably should have gone with a large, just to get some extra support for the pad. On rides of about 30 miles the pad starts getting pretty uncomfortable due to the shifting.

True to size, these shorts are comfortable and flashy! The top and bottom of legs aren't' too tight. These are very comfortable!

When I received these I was soooo excited. Perfect size, color etc! Tried it on and the color part is thinner than the rest. The material in general if thinner than what I was expecting. Hence, if you have a bit of fat, it will bulge out. If you are pure muscle, go for it. They are a beautiful pair of shorts. Just not the compression material I am looking for.

I love that these are a shorter style of cycling shorts. It is difficult to find short ones. Also, they fit really well. The wide waistband is awesome. My only complaint, is that i wish the padding was a little thicker so my longer rides were not so uncomfortable.

  • Question “could these be used as a Trialthon short?”
Asked on 4/27/2014 10:55:44 AM by first time tri from colorado
    • Answer They don't have a lot padding so I probably wouldn't use them for a long distance ride. I love the them personally but I don't think they would be comfortable for too long of a ride.
