I have had mine for 3 years. I have transported it in the cargo space of my SUV as well as on top of it. It travels well and floats well. I have taken it on Bay and on creeks in WV. I had read many good reviews about this kayak. We were quite disappointed when we took it out on a small lake. I tracks terribly, wants to spin around, difficult to keep moving in one direction. Tracks a little better as a single rather than a double. The straps are extremely difficult to use, it took 3 adults to figure out how to release the straps. Even then my fingers aren't strong enough to release them.
On the plus side, it does fit in the back of my Subaru Outback.
I would not recommend this boat.

I recently took it down Antietam Creek for a 3.5 hour paddle. Went off a 3' falls with the 1 man set up without consequence. The joining system is durable and rigid. The seating is comfortable and I yet to dump it or roll it. I have hit some large rocks in rapids without damage and kept the boat upright. It is not recommended for surf use.
