This takes 30 minutes of constant rolling around which is exhausting, but with heavy whipping cream like it called for made some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted. I wouldn't want to do it everyday, but for my kids I would do it occasionally. Sherry

Fun for kids. Make sure you get the inflatable cover. It's like kicking a rock without it

We received the ball with the inflatable encasement for rolling our way to a quart of ice cream. The problem was that the two half-sphere inflatable pieces, designed to be joined by velcro to wrap and cushion the plastic ball, could not be joined; the velco was a mismatch, missing the scratchy hook surfaces needed to attach to the fuzzy. We can find the velcro match at the hardware store, but what a pain. As for the ice cream, perhaps because we were limited to smaller, more carefull movements without the cushioning encasement, the stuff at the bottom was rock hard, and the mix at the top was slushy. We will give another try with the ball we repaired.

I think the concept is great but it takes a long… time to make the ice cream. So long that even my three teenage boys got tired of tossing it around. also, there was a hole in the outside ball when we received it. This made it even harder to do.
