I bought this for my bedroom/upstairs, as I only have baseboard heat which doesn't get the job done. I had just been using a space heater, which worked, but it took several hours to warm the room up and if it was real cold out, it would never get the room past 70 degrees. I've used this now for a ... Read More

These are nicely made wooden "tables" with heaters built in. We're using 3 of them to heat a spare bedroom and loft area. The temperatures have been pretty balmy here in Northern California since we got them but they put off a lot of heat -- I'm sure they'll do just fine on cold winter days..

Heater looks great and works well. Would be nice if it remembered your setting - we have to adjust temp. every time we turn it on. Also every time you raise or lower the temp. it makes a loud beep for each degree - annoying. Overall though our family makes good use of it and it does the job.

Bought this heater for our kitchen/dining room area....it was always cold in the morning. Plugged this in ...set the temp. And no more cold rooms in the morning when I get up...it keeps the area (about 600 sf) the perfect temp.....worth the money for sure!

I purchased two of these heaters and at the coupon price I think they were a very good deal. The heaters were pretty well packed, but the heaters that I received did have some very minor nicks and one has a minor scratch on the top. The quality of this item is not top notch, but I am happy with the purchase and I am likely going to purchase a third heater, but may try the smaller model. They don't heat up to 1,000 sq ft (not even close) like advertised, but I knew that prior to buying them. These heaters are a good option for me because I live in a home with many electric baseboard heaters from the 1960s and since I can't afford to have all those heaters replaced - only a couple - these heaters work for me. I have only been using them for about 10 days so I can't comment on their long term reliability, although I do believe these quatrz heaters are servicable. I purchased a different brand quartz heater for a lot more money at a local heating business last winter and I know that they service heaters as well. Also, I like the fact that they function as furniture and I don't have to figure out where I'm going to store them once spring arrives. So far, I am very pleased.

This is a nice-looking piece of furniture, suitable as a table lamp as described. Comes all assembled. Fewer stars because I don't think it's heating as I would like. I have it under a window, set at 72 degrees. Few minutes of heat, then it turns itself off. The unit may have reached 72 degrees, but the area around it hasn't. Annoying to keep having to turn it back on.
