As above, these are comfortable and cosy gloves, and look really cool -- passable as regular gloves, with no gaudy logos etc. They have really minimal padding, though -- I'd call them reinforced rather than padded, honestly. Good if that's how you like your bike gloves; if you like gel gloves, try these for driving instead of cycling.

These gloves worked exactly as I hoped they would. They seemed thin but they kept my hands warm for an hour and a half ride to work in the morning. I think the temp was in the low 40s. I didn't think about my feet and legs and they were really cold by the time I finished but my hands were just right.

I bought these gloves for driving, I was hoping these gloves would be able to take a beating, being sold as mountain biking gloves and all, but I know they are not going to last. First of all the palms are slippery, there is no tackiness to them at all, I would think that you wouldn't want your hands sliding off your grips when your riding down a mountain, so yes I was expecting them to be a little tacky. And second they are Very thin, not a hardy glove at all and I know they are not going to be keeping any hands warm even at 45 degrees, never mind freezing.

A bit rough inside - no lining - and not warm - but I always have issues with getting gloves on - wide hands with short fingers - so gloves with a narrow opening or elastic do not work. I can get these on because of the zipper - they fit okay, not sure if they can be washed but it would be great if the fingers were a ½ inch shorter. For biking gloves - they have cushioning at all - and hope will keep hands protected from the sun - but quite limited in use - just for driving or motorcycle- not bicycle - due to roughness and total lack of cushioning. An odd pair of gloves - still thinking about returning them - bought a pair in medium but the fingers were terribly long - so decided to try a small.
I bought the maroon but now I would have preferred the black/grey for how they can be used.
    Good luck!
