I was starting to have an allergic reaction to merino wool socks. I normally love them. But, I have weird skin. So, I got couple pairs of these and couple pairs of Thorlo's coolmax and my legs are now doing much better now. The Eurosock socks seem to be as good as Thorlos at this point. Also, th... Read More

I have only used these for 1 week, but they seem of good quality and help keep my feet dry.

I wear these socks every day (bought several pair). They are not too thick, but cushy enough to wear all day while I am on my feet. I am fussy about socks and these are just perfect. The tops stay up without being too tight. Thanks!

These are great for hiking ,i did a steep up and down and the cushioning is unbelievably effective, even tho the socks aren't that thick and they don't feel tight in my boots. I'll probably order more. I'd been using thicker socks , really warm ones i use for x c skiiing, and they really aren't as good!

My all time favorite sock has always been Thorlo because of their excellent wicking material, fit and cushioning. This sock is very comparable and at STP prices it's a real bargain. I would caution that the sizing chart is a bit ambiguous. I usually wear a W 8-8.5 shoe but have a low volume foot. I ordered several pairs of size M and they are slightly longer and looser than I'd like but even at that they don't bunch up while I'm wearing them. Still, think I'll exchange the unopened ones for size S.

I also bought Bridgedale comfort trekkers, and would recommend them instead. This sock is tighter at the top, and my feet feel sweatier in it. However, it's a nice sock and I won't be returning it.

  • Question “Is the L or XL a better fit for Men's size 11 or 11.5?
Asked on 6/19/2014 4:21:48 AM by Kaz from VA
    • Answer I think that XL would be more suitable for you
My shoes size is 10 U.S ,and I ordered size L and it fits me perfectly
Answered on 6/19/2014 4:28:35 AM by uri from nj
    • Answer XL for sure. These socks do not fit like traditional socks. They are more glove-like in fit, so I think the perception is that they run on the small side.
Answered on 6/19/2014 5:07:59 AM by Lobo Country Dreaming from East coast
    • Answer Since they run small, I bought L for my size 10.5 husband. I'd suggest an XL. But he didn't like the sox so I returned them.

    • Answer I wear 8-8.5 boots, and am happy with the mediums I ordered. they shink up a bit after laudry, but not to tight.
      Hope this helps.

    • Answer Definitely the XL. I wear a 9.5 shoe and the L is perfect for me. I think an 11 or 11.5 would require the XL.

    • Answer I bought the large and have the same shoe size. They are holding up well, have had them for about 6 months now.
If you have large calves, they'll dig in a little but not to the point where it is uncomfortable.

    • Answer I bought the large for my husband who wears a size 11 show. They fit snugly and don't allow for the sock to slip. That's what we find causes most of our blisters.

    • Answer Large should be your best fit. I am a size 13 and it is a little snug on me after a few washes.

    • Answer My husband wears an 11.5. I ordered 2 pairs of each L and XL and we kept both as he liked them so much as there didn't seem to be much of a difference at least in the pairs we received. We hiked in soggy Ireland for a week ( I had the socks too) and they were terrific. Washed well too.

    • Answer I would think that you should use a size large. I bought and used a size xl, because I wear a size 13.5 boot. Hope this helps.

    • Answer I take a size 12 so I got the L and they fit well but are maybe a little more snug than I would like but that's just personal preference. If you like a little bit of looseness in your socks than maybe size up. You probably would be ok with the L as your foot is slightly smaller than mine so the socks shouldn't be quite as snug on your feet. I hope this helps?

    • Answer Hummmm - I prefer my socks to fit snuggly. It's a matter of choice so I would go with the Large. You sure don't want them to be to long and squish your toes in your shoes!! That's not fun and could ruin your trexxing!

    • Answer I usually buy these for my husband. He wears a size 10 (mens) and I buy large. I would say that an 8 1/2 woman could wear a medium comfortably. (I am an 8, and that's what I'd do.)
Answered on 5/30/2014 8:55:53 AM by Sivolamae from Warren,, RI
    • Answer Go with the medium, it is sized for Womens size 8 - 10.

If you didn't know, if you put your mouse cursor over a size box and don't move it (the mouse), a popup will appear with the sizing details for that size.

    • Answer Betsy, I have a better answer for you today. My daughter (8.5 foot) tried on the socks and said they felt great. I think she was a bit jealous I didn't give her a pair. My son hiked 8 miles with them in preparation for a 100 mile hike in Utah. He said they were great and asked for 3 pairs for his trip. He mentioned that he took them off during a lunch break, turned them inside out and was pleased to see that they dried by the end of lunch.
