I fly over 100k a year for work and wear these every time I get on a plane. They have significantly reduced swelling in my legs after those long flights and with the wool I can wear them for 48hrs + of travel without any offensive odors! Going to order another pair or two and start using them for bi... Read More

I love compression socks to wear while on my feet for 12 hours as a nurse, but I hate traditional TED hose, as they don't breathe at all. I LOVE SmartWool's compression socks- great for a long run or a long shift. They breathe well and aren't too hot. The pair I bought are irregulars, so maybe this is why they are very snug for the size. None of my other SmartWool compression socks are sized small like this- that is the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

These socks are compressive and hold up well throughout my day. I am on my feet for work, and wear these to keep my legs/ankles from being sore. They stay put and provide great support. I like how thin they are because I can easily layer them under my pants/tights. I wear a size 7 women's shoe, and got these in a Medium. They're a bit tricky to put on and take off, but that's the nature of the compression. Overall, an excellent deal on STP.

I've ordered these socks in the past. Very happy with them, so was happy to see them on STP in black. I'm 5'5, shoe size 8 women's. The last few pairs were size medium and so were these, but they barely made it up mid-calf and I don't have very long lower legs. Compression socks are supposed to cover the whole calf just right below knee crease. Therefore, somewhat disappointed with these. These are definitely irregulars meaning sizing is totally off!!!!

I have a pair of these I purchased paying retail for my job (nurse). I needed more so I took the chance with these irregulars & am pleased. I ordered 3 pairs & they seemed to vary in width though all the same size, but after laundering, wearing, & hang dry they seem consistent as they stretched to my calf. These have an obnoxious "irregular" marking on side of foot (can't see in shoe) but they are fading with wear & wash. I will definitely buy more because they help keep my feet pain free & my feet from swelling just like my original ones. I love Smartwool & I am a convert!!

I have to wear compression socks every day. I wish I had heard of this brand sooner! The compression is good and the fit is very comfortable. No tight binding at the top to dig into your legs. As for fit, I am on the thin side, but have big feet (women's size 10). I usually have to get toeless compression hose to get the compression right without squeezing my toes. I bought these in size M and the fit is fine. I will definitely buy these again. Thanks, Sierra Trading Post.
