These are the second pair I've ever owned. They fit great. However, I ordered a half size larger than what I wear and that was the right move. They are lightweight and feel great when I wear them for long periods. I've pretty much worn them whenever I could since I got them. They seem to be holding ... Read More

Are these even real Keens? I ordered a pair in the same size as another pair of Keens that I own, that are incredibly comfortable. This pair, in the same size is shrunken, at least an inch and a half off the length and a half inch on the width! Incredible. I've never encountered anything where sizing within the same pair of sandals ran so different.

These sandals are a "light" version of the other Keen sandals; thinner sole, lightweight. Fit is as it should be. They were out of my size (I wear 8.5 U.S.), but I ordered a 9 and it fits just fine. I would definately order again.

I received my Keens in good time and a perfect fit. The overall quality was great. I did have one issue with the pull tab above the toungue of the right shoe. As I pulled the shoe on with assistance from the pull tab, it came lose on the back side. I considered returning the shoes for replacement but with the time and effort to get an RA and repackage, ship, and await for the replacement, I made the repaire myself. So far it's as good as new. I just hope that it was an isolated event and the other tabs work as expected.

I purchased size 8 1/2 sandals and they fit great. I wear 8 1/2 . They are light weight and supportive. I recommend them for anyone who wants an airy sandal that you can wear into the fall with a sock.

    • Answer I think you could use these for hiking. They are more rigid and seem to be durable, but not uncomfortable. Be aware that these are narrow and run small. If you take a 9.5, go for 10.

    • Answer What I like about this pair is the light weight. Sole is the right thickness to walk around rocks and cross streams. I use mine after a long day hike to air my feet at camp. Walking along streams and lakes. I do not use them for hiking long distances. They are best pair. I have a pair not very flexible. These are more flexible and light wieght.

    • Answer I really haven't had a chance to wear the sandals yet - winter in Wisconsin just won't quit. From just trying them on, I think they would work well for what you want as they are pretty sturdy.

    • Answer They were sturdy enough for me. They have a thin but sturdy sole. I plan to take them for use on backpacking trips for river crossings.

    • Answer Dar Friend, I envy you for time away and ability to hike. These sandals are the latest in about 8 pair of Keens I have. I'd say they are a little more ridged then some others - but they are still new. Sole seems thinner then some others. I wear them on pool deck as a life guard. Serious difference to my back when I go barefoot, so they seem to have good support. They have been wet but not soaking for an extended period of time and have some suede as well as nylon in construction. . They seem more narrow then my other pairs including Newports. I would be more inclined to wear one of my other more bulkier pairs for extended hikes. These are however a excellent pair of multi purpose sandals and I wish i had gotten 2 pair for the price I had paid when I ordered them. They are advertised in Lands End Catalogue for $110, and I caught one of the sales Sierra Trading Post is famous for and got mine for $45. In afact all my Keens have come from this company.

    • Answer This sandals are flexible. These are a lighter weight sandal. I got them for a backpack camp shoe, because they are lighter. The heavier keen sandals, which I also have a heavier and more rigid.
