gives great support for a day on my feet. i bought them as opposed to another high-priced competitor, for the elastic gores on the side. they provide just a little "give". the instep is just a little snug, but i anticipate this will relax as i wear them more often.

I purchased these shoes a two weeks ago online and love them! I work in a hospital on my feet all day and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned! They're true to size and don't require any break in.

Yes. They have a flat bottom because the arch support comes from the removable insole, so you could put in your own. They run a touch large, so when sizing to fit the orthotic you may not have to go up as much as some shoes. I have two pair, and one pair is slightly tight over my arch above my instep. I have high arches, though, and I got them a half size small since the rest of the shoe fits small. Hope that helps with your choice.

Yes. See my other answer for more details. They sent me this question twice, so I'm answering both times to get two entries for the $100 gift card :)
