This is my 6th pair of Brooks Addiction. They were recommended by my podiatrist for overpronation before and after foot surgery.
I'm a walker and by a new pair about every 9 months. These were a great value. I would highly recommend these to anyone who has foot problems.
They give great support.... Read More

I was diagnosed with Arthritis in my big toes. All of my athletic shoes hurt my feet and made it almost impossible to exercise - even walking hurt.
The Podiatrist recommended Brooks Addiction 10. I could not believe that a shoe change would make that much difference. Boy, was I wrong!!!!
These shoes are super stable and great! Some folks have said they don't bend enough - well that is true. The goal is to protect the foot from hyper extending - which is what my feet would do while running. Yes,they are heavier. Yes they make you run more flat footed . Nonetheless, my feet no longer hurt. Sierra Trading Post provided a very good cost for the shoes and easy shipping. Thanks for helping me get back on the track - literally!

I wear it straight out from the box for 10 hours. No break in needed for me. True to size and lots of cushion. Great deals with coupon. Shipped on time.

I've worn Brooks for years. Though I prefer Ariele(they are hard to find) I really like Addition and Adrenelin. Brooks shoes have a wide toe which I need and have good padding underfoot. I hope Sierra continues to carry Brooks as they are the only brand I will buy.

    • Answer Runs true to size for me. I use orthotics so must take out the insole but that is true of any shoe I use. I also have neuropathy in my feet.
Been buying Brooks Addiction for years and love to find them on Sierra. So glad they finally had something other than white.
So I ordered several pair of the darker colored ones.

    • Answer Pretty much true to size---or if not, just a little bit small. This is my wife's correct size, but she has a very high arch. At first they were tight across the top of the ball of her foot---but they eventually loosened up. In terms of toe room, they are long enough, but there may not be much extra height or width at the toe for you.

    • Answer Yes they run true to size. For more toe box room, try ordering a mens size. That's what I did for jogging.

    • Answer Yes, they do. I usually wear a size 10, and the size 10 Brooks fit just right. If you are deciding between two sizes, choose the bigger. Some people feel they run just a tad small.

    • Answer I feel that they fit a bit snug for the called out size. They have great cushioning and arch support.

    • Answer I think they run a tad small. I got the 8.5 and I typically wear an 8. They don't seem as small as they used to though ( I've worn this style for 10+ years).

    • Answer Yes, they are very true to size. I am extremely picky about my shoes, and these are exactly what I needed and wanted.

    • Answer no, shoes do run a little small, I would order around 1 size larger, also this would allow a little more room for orthotic if needed and hopefully avoid any rubbing, hope this helps

    • Answer These shoes have a very wide toe box. I have bunions, and the shoes fit very well. They are designed to encourage the wearer to put most weight on the outside of the foot.. The prices at STP are fantastic. These same shoes sell for over $100 at other shoe sites. I have seven pair and wear them for boot camp, aerobics, and walking. Hope this helps!
