Brooks Cadence have been my favorite running shoes since they 1st came out. The differences between all the Pure Project shoes are small but noticeable. Cadence have wider toe box and I don't feel the pod underneath pressing into my foot. Cushion and responsiveness are in a great balance

The orange soled version has more of a gray upper, not the white appearance in the picture. I was pleased with the gray, white shoes get dirty too fast where I live. I loved the previous (#1) PureCadence shoe for it's wide toe box, low profile and cushion. It also felt light and fast for a stability shoe, while the neon yellow/green color was great for being seen at night, it kind of hurt my eyes. The PureCadence 2 has the same build but a narrower lacing system and toe box. We'll see how this plays out as my toenails get banged up pretty bad in a narrow toe shoe. So far I'm quite pleased.

I am a huge fan of the PureCadence 1. I've been in the PureCadence 2 for about a month now and they feel great. Wasn't sure what to think about the updates but so far they have all worked out well for me. I can't say that the changes made to the PureCadence 2 were necessary because when the rubber meets the road it's about the same ride. The 2s do have a wider toe box which I wasn't sure about for my narrow feet, but the nav band and lacing system provide a snug fit while I've grown accustomed to the wider toe box and actually like it quite a bit.

These are definitely lightweight minimalist running shoes. Follow the suggested guide and order them 1/2 size larger than your normal size.

Really enjoying these shoes. Maybe my favorite pair of running shoes ever was a pair called the Brooks Burn I had a dozen or so years ago....just the right amount of cushioning to be comfy, but still very fast shoes. These shoes are the same way. Great purchase!

I've been running in these shoes all summer and am very happy with them. They are stable, comfortable, and relatively lightweight. No complaints at all. I recently bought another pair.
