This knife is sturdy, well made, and quite sharp right out of the package.

I got his on sale and it was well worth what I paid and more. I seldom buy fixed blade knives, preferring folding pocket knives, but I bought this one. I liked the low price and the type of blade steel was a bargain, especially for a reliable name-brand knife. I wasn't disappointed. This one as a very strong and somewhat thick blade and should be able to cut almost anything. The sheath it came with was OK, but pretty basic. The knife will end up in my shed for use outdoors and for gardening and for general use around house and home. In summary, this is a good sturdy knife with a good blade and well worth the STP price I paid. I went back and bought a second and third one (I can be something of a knife fanatic). One will stay in my tool box and the other I'll give away. Really good knife for the price.
