I got 2 and stacked them, easy to assemble with a single screwdriver, and rolled up my cardigans, shrugs and light fleeces. This takes up far less room than other methods and I can eyeball and grab what I want right away. Okay, I'm a sweater nut and may have too many, but cubbyholes have many uses i...

I have gone through many, many different kinds of shoe organizers, including a shoe tree. This is by far the best. I bought 3 of them. I have stacked 2 by my back door, and put 1 in my front hall closet (shoes I don't wear as often). They are very easy to put together and to stack. My shoes, women's size 7, fit great. I can easily fit more than 1 pair of flat sandals in one compartment. I even was able to put my boots, laying on side, in one compartment. I could see though, if you have a large shoe size or men's shoe, you might not have the desired fit or look. I love them and would buy more if I had more shoes. I shopped around and this website has the best price.

This item is getting a 4 star review only because of its color, I don't care for the brown. However, its function and size is great. My boyfriend wears a size 11 shoe, and all of his shoes (except tall boots) fit well in the compartments. The organizer fits nicely by the front door, leaving that area now free and clear of shoe clutter. We also use the cubby holes for beanies and gloves, which is nice because it keeps them easily accessible, yet out of the way.

I've bought 5 of them and would buy more if I could figure out where to put them....
I started out with shoes (which I went crazy for this year) but found many more uses for them....my boots are the only things on the "ground" in my closets.
The cubbies are about: 5" high, 7 "wide and 11" deep-- I say "about" because they are soft sided and there is some flexibility in what you can get to "fit into" each of them.. For instance, though the internal depth is 11" the rigid shelf that attaches to the top of the frame is a little over 13"(including frame). So, you can have some overhang from a cubby and still remain within the framework of the organizer.
I'm storing clogs so have to put them on their sides-toe to heel w/soles facing the sides of the cubby. I have a toe peeking out so I know what's in there.
Hiking boots, cowboy boots, full length boots etc...need another solution, but you can use the rigid top shelf for them if the floor is not acceptable.
I've stuffed all kinds of things in these cubbies--insoles, orthotics, cleaning/waterproofing sprays and polishes, heavy socks--everything footwear.
The one in the coat closet has hats, scarves, gloves--everything outdoor related.
Also, my stuff looks great--it's an attractive "frame" for all the things-individully and collectively.
I'd buy more of them if I could figure out where to put them...I think I'd have no problem figuring out what to put in them...
