Not made cheaply, it is well detailed and warm. I keep waiting for something to come up that would upset me but it hasn't

This is my second one of these jackets, I wanted one in my team color. They're fantastic. It's thin, but still warm in a wide range, down to the 20's, probably d/t the high quality down fill. Very light and comfortable. True to size. I would highly recommend this jacket.

Well constructed. Haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. Very light. Packs small. Will be easy to pack into the backpack. Hopefully it holds up good in the mountain cold.

I love the jacket, warm and comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the color, but it's OK.

Love the weight of the coat and it is very warm. You might call it high visibility.

    • Answer Marmot Zues doesn't have an internal storm flap. It does have an internal non zippered pocket that could be used for goggles. It does have two zippered outer side pockets. I can't compare the Columbia jacket to the Zues, but I can compare the Patagonia down sweater and sizewize I wear a medium in both. The are almost identical in fit.

    • Answer The other responder is absolutely wrong. The jacket most certainly has a storm flap...about an inch wide internal. No wind gets through the zipper and you never have the zipper touching you.

    • Answer Storm flap - yes. I don;t know the Columbia product, but I would describe this Marmot product as a down sweater, and very comparable to the Patagonia one in quality and use.

    • Answer Yes. It has a flap behind the zipper. I know nothing about the Columbia "down sweater". Order both and return one.

    • Answer No this does not have an internal storm flap. I would imagine this would be a layering piece so a flap isnt as critical. I have worn this with a light weight layer piece in low 20's and not a shiver. Love this piece. I also have the vest for not so cold days as well.

    • Answer There's no flap at all - whether internal or external. The jacket is not waterproof - just water-resistant. So, forget about the storm flap - in a storm that thing wouldn't do you any good at all!

Sizes for Marmot and Columbia jackets are the same: they true to fit. But the same cannot be said about Columbia pants - a 30 waist will measure not less than 32.

      Hope that helps.
