Got exactly what I was looking for- solid base layer under my shell for skiing. Looks good by itself around town. Great insulation, fair wind resistance. All in all- very happy. I'm 5'11', slim build and got the medium. Fits perfect.

This is a fun idea - an 800 fill power down shirt. Makes an interesting jacket. Fit is generously true to size. Construction is impeccable. The price here with a deal flyer is maybe half what it's selling for elsewhere.

I waffled quite a bit on keeping this. I was trying to picture myself wearing it out, either as a top piece or as a layer, and it just didn't get me excited. As a top piece, the style and construction just wasn't that pleasing to me. I'm not sure the zipper is going to be flawless for the long haul--it seems a little flaky at the start. Also, the snap buttons on the cuffs kind of stick out from the fabric on the inside. For layering, I think I might prefer a little different style, maybe rib-knit collar, waist, and cuffs--but that's just me. It IS described as a 'shirt jacket." In the end, I decided to keep it primarily for use as a "house jacket" to wear around the house in the mornings until I warm up, and so far it has served that purpose well--it's light weight, feels good/comfy, and is warm.
