So I'm 6'4" and I typically wear an XL... at first the Furio (XL) looked like it would swallow all 220 lbs of me... once I tried it on and adjusted the cuffs and waist, it looks like a million bucks. I've only wore it when the temps were in the 30-40s and was very comfortable with street clothes on underneath, but I intend to wear it as a ski jacket, too. There is enough room for 1-2 layers for the top of the mountain. I can't wait...

I just received my 2XL Outdoor Research Furio Jacket, however, it was way too small in the chest and waist area, so I had to return it.

I'm 6'2 and weigh 230lbs, but there is no way I could wear my down vest under this jacket. The sleeves were also a little too long, but not a major problem.

The workmanship, stitching, design, color, pockets and all other details of this jacket were all excellent.

I would have preferred to have a flap over the front zipper, but that's just a personal preference.

If you're tall and thin, the 2XL of this jacket would be a better fit than the XL; This particular jacket is a size off, so order one size up from your normal size.

Again, it would be a fantastic jacket if the sizing was correct.

I've only had this jacket for a week, so take my review with a grain of salt.

Pros: Seems durable. Well made. Fits me pretty well (I'm 6'3", 175 pounds, 42L suit size, and I had to return the large for a medium). Has a lot of nice little touches like a little hole in the interior chest pocket for headphone cords, quality zipper pulls, cord guides, etc.

Cons: Smallish pockets and pocket zippers have nothing but the mesh pocket lining beneath it (makes me wonder if the zippers may leak down the road). Gore-Tex is pretty stiff (see durable above) and puckery on seams. I'd prefer traditional pitzips rather than the full length zipper. The overall shape of the jacket is slightly A shaped, that is the waist seems a little bigger than the shoulders/chest. Since I'm pretty skinny, I'd prefer it to be slightly "V" shaped.

I got an additional discount for this off Twitter, so it was a pretty good deal. Overall, I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. I anticipate this coat lasting me many years to come.

Worked good in a heavy rain. Full length side zips are great for warm weather. Pockets are well placed. Hood is large
