This caught my eye having the bird feed slot covered by the perch. The excess can spill on the platter below for larger birds. Easy access to open, fill and then close. The price was right, especially with the added discount STP offered to me. Gave as a gift and they love it.

This feeder works well and seems well constructed. It is plastic, but seems beefy and the birds get the seeds without too much spillage.

Great for a sheltered location. My Grandson and I made an expedition by finding out what kind of seed was most important to our local bird population. We hung this just outside a window so we can watch who comes to visit. Great educational item. I wouldn't hang it where you have a lot of wind.

The birds (and squirrels!) are perfectly happy to eat from this inexpensive feeder! I have not found anything wrong with it; therefore, a great buy!

We bought this because the openings are large enough for the squirrels to get their treats. They love it.
