I love these pearl izumis! I've had Asics and Mizunos in the past, but had to break both of them in a bit before I began running in them. With these pearl izumis I was able to run hard from day 1 with no issues. They run true to size for me and are very light weight--it feels like I'm wearing not... Read More

I am a neutral runner (no pronation or suppination) and these shoes are great! They are instantly comfortable and wear well. Highly recommend.

Light weight, roomy toe box, cool du to mesh material, great for pronators.

The first time I wore these shoes I was biking and I never took the time to break them in first! They were extremely comfortable all day long. Even though I had had a blister on my little toe from another pair of shoes, I never felt it. The cushioning was wonderful for my sore feet. I enjoyed my day and never hurt. It doesn't hurt that i like the color combination and the look of the shoes also. I also got several compliments on the shoes.

I wanted something lighter for summer months, and so I gave these a shot. Bummer. I have overpronation issues and typically wear orthotics. These shoes fit funky from the gate. The arch hit a weird place on my foot and with the orthotic in, the shoe sides gave out (it is only fabric with no reinforcement). With two pairs of socks they are too tight, with one pair they slide around like crazy. The top of the shoe isn't right either. I have a boxy toe area and these shoes don't even come close to being comfortable. I can tell right away they won't last long. I am going to try to return them because I am SO VERY disappointed in them.

these shoes are just fine and dandy if you have a medium width, which i find to be of all running shoes. but, alas, i have a wide width, and cannot wear without adjusting. now they fit and feel great! i love the midsole being offset, it feels good on my feet, like i am supposed to walk, you know?

  • Question “I have a wide foot and a high arch. Are these good for me ?”
Asked on 11/9/2014 8:36:14 PM by Tk from Tennessee
    • Answer hmmmmm -- possibly not. I have a narrow foot and they work for me, with thick socks. So I'd say they are medium width. If your foot is TRULY wide, I suspect they may be too narrow. The toe box has plenty of room, however.

    • Answer I have exactly the opposite type foot -- not very wide, but, very flat. I found that the shoes were a good fit in the width, but, too short in the toe for the size (and there wasn't a next size up). I would expect that these shoes would not fit the width of your foot.

    • Answer The toe box is generous and I also have wide feet.
High arches I don't have so don't know how to advise....
