The reviews on here don't do these shoes justice. The first time I ran in these I ran 8 miles and they felt great...no hotspots. They do run a bit narrow but the length is true to size. These are my first Pearl shoes and I really enjoy them. I was intrigued by the tie-less system, and it works decently. In my experience they will loosen up slowly needing a quick adjustment every 3-4 miles. Otherwise, I like how light they are and comfortable to my flat, flexible feet.

I have been running with pi kissakis and wanted to try this. The quality is there...light weight, feels good, looks great. It does fit a tad narrower than the kissakis. My first run in them I ran 11 miles. My feet felt kinda hot from the narrower fit so some tweaking with the laces fixed it. Did 17.5 miles yesterday and no hotspots. This will be my marathon shoes in Dec.
