Purchased these shorts because I'm not a guy who wears tight bike shorts. These shorts were better then I imagined. The inner lining is tight but fits well and is elastic. The outer shorts were loose but not overly baggy. I'm a 36 waist and the large fit well and is adjustable at the waist. Plus the... Read More

Love these shorts. Comfortable with nice chamois and outer fabric. Only minor quibble is that the liner is attached and doesn't always align with the pant legs when pulling on the shorts. But ultimately, a steal with STP discount.

I commute 13 miles to work on paved paths, road, and highways. I can't justify the full kit, jerseys, etc for these trip. So I bought these. I like them and use them, but they're not exactly as I had anticipated. They're a nice thin slim shell with one zipper pocket on the right front and then a complete biker short liner THAT YOU CAN'T REMOVE on the inside with a pretty serious amount of chamois padding. I have a skinny waist and larger thighs and I don't love the tightness of the elastic band at the bottom of the biker liner shorts, especially when I have a merino baselayer underneath, but they seem to be loosening up or maybe I have ;)

These were a steal on this site, and I had had my eye on a pair for some time. I'm quite happy with them so far. They are much lighter than other shorts I've had, but with a more substantial chamois as well. I find it quite easy to get behind my seat on steeper downhills. They seem to offer a good amount of adjustability with velcro to dial in waist size. There is one zipper pocket on the front right, which is just big enough for my phone (easy access for photos or Strava). I'm quite pleased so far.

I didn't know 'relaxed fit' meant baggy. I was looking for a lightweight pair of mountain biking shorts. The looked like they were 'form-fitting', but they really were not. Yes they're light shorts great for those warm days, but they definately run baggy. However, you cannot size down because the Chamois does run snug.
If you're looking for a more 'form-fitting' I suggest you keep looking, otherwise these are a good, lightweight short.

After trying 8 different pairs of MTB shorts, these were the winner for my husband who is 5'6, 160#. The fabric is light weight and durable, with comfortable bike short liners that are attached by a back panel at the waist only, so they don't bind!
