I fish in the worst weather possible and in every climate possible, but the climate that eats every tent is gulf coast fishing. It doesn't just get hot but also blows 40 mph and rains all at the same time. I've had just about every tent possible break and you end up sleeping in your car or in the ... Read More

This tent is great! The quality and intelligent design is impressive. It's much lighter than I would have thought. I bought this tent for me. I'm 6'7" 225lbs so I'm too large and uncomfortable in most 1p tents. This gives me just enough room to stretch out and keep my pack in the tent... So I save a little weight by not bringing the vestibule. I did buy an aftermarket footprint for it. Why NOT have that added protection for a couple ounces? Overall I'd say this tent is one of the easiest to put up of this quality. I live in Colorado... So we get a little bit of everything all year long. The Espri holds up well to the wind and rain, and breathes nicely so you don't feel smothered inside with humidity and condensation all night. I look forward to many great trips in it! I wish the gear loft were included... It seems handy.

Just purchased this tent and used on a 2 night backpacking trip. I had stayed in a friends Nemo before. It is roomy with lots of headspace. Like the full black netting that gives you a great view of the sky. Also like the understated grey/black color. At 5 lbs its not the lightest, but definitely a value. A friend bought a very expensive 2p to save a couple lbs and hers seemed very fragile to me. The Nemo seems to be more heavy duty and I wasn't worried about the zippers or tearing the netting. If you don't need to carry the rain fly and vestibule you can save some weight because they are about as big as the rest of the tent. Super fast and easy to set up. So far, I'm super happy with this tent!

Purchased this tent for trek and car camping. Tried it out this weekend on Vashon Island. We were able to set it up in about 5 minutes. Comfortable sleeping space, zippers were easy to use. Well worth the price.

Nice tent. Looked like it was well put together and used quality materials, but upon putting the tent up for the first time the fly lost 3 of its Velcro attachments that hold it to the poles. Nemo used a glue of sorts that looked like it had dried before adhering the Velcro to the fly. Others had mentioned this as well and unfortunately I had to return.
