I had never worn Keen shoes before and was unsure of sizing. I usually wear a size 5, but over the years I've owned many pair of Clarks mules/clogs in 5.5 and 6. I had never worn Keen shoes before and was unsure of sizing. I usually wear a size 5, but over the years I've owned many pair of Clarks mules/clogs in 5.5 and 6. I first ordered these in a 5.5, figuring that it wouldn't matter if they were a little too long since they were backless. However, the 5.5 was huge all over on me. I almost didn't exchange for the smaller size because I was also less than thrilled with the way these shoes looked. Not only did they look even more huge than they felt, but the leather looked almost like rubber as you couldn't see any difference in the appearance of the rubber toe and they rest of the shoe. But I did exchange the 5.5 for a size 5, and the 5s at least didn't look huge. The length is right on the 5s, though I'm not crazy about the feel of the partial heal grip. I did decide to keep them since they were really cheap with a coupon I had on top of a promotional discount, and I'm hoping that they will last longer than the recent Clarks I've bought. which all came apart at the stitching which attaches the leather upper to the sole.
