For years I am buying Sorel or Kamik boots for kids in winter. They are well made and liner is not flimsy. Sizing is good as well.
However most of these boots are not really waterproof. We live in NE and with regular snowfall and cold, all these boots will feel soaked after couple of hours play in the snow. And we do play hard. I have to dry liners every day and make sure boots are warmed up as well.
Since I have not found better solution yet for their constantly growing feet, I still get them since overall it is good boot, but not an amazing one.
