The single line prism kites are some of the more entertaining made. It surprises me that they are not more popular because their behavior is so intriguing while just allowing variation in degrees of slackness and tension in the line. I find them far more enjoyable than sport kites because their ant... Read More

Worked very well for my 8 year old. Once we got it up it went WAYYY up (I purchased a bigger kite string spool). It held up to the OBX winds, came down in the water once, etc. Still intact. Highly recommend. Also, everyone thought it looked cool.

My two year old son and I have been loving this kite. Easy to use and fly. Just have to get it up in the air to that special distance where the EO Atom does the rest.

  • Question “What is the packaged size of the Prism Kite Technology's EO atom kite?”
Asked on 8/6/2014 9:55:58 PM by Suzanne from Mississippi
    • Answer The kite is folded flat and measures 9X13 1/2 inches and is oval shaped. If I remember right, it was in a clear plastic wrapping.

    • Answer First of all as an owner of several it is a spectacular kite. It can float gently or with some tugging and releasing of line it dances in the sky. Frankly it is mesmerizing and keeps me entertained along with several other Prism kites during our yearly vacation treks to the Cape Cod national seashore.

Now to your question. When packed it folds flat and is elliptical. I would estimate that it is then about 1/2 inch thick. The long and short axies of the ellipses are roughly 19 inches and 14 inches respectively.

    • Answer I believe these are the measurements:19.5 x 18 x 13.5 inches.
I don't have mine with me at this moment but this sounds about right.
It's a small kite, but it's a pretty awesome kite. My 8 year old loves it.
      Hope this helps.
