This is my 3rd pair of Brooks Cascadia shoes in the past 2 years and I use them for everything from hiking to trail running. I toured Europe for 3 months last fall using this shoe as my only footwear. It's a great all around shoe, and a great running shoe but surprisingly an even better trail hiki... Read More

Pounding the trails or just walking around town, these shoes are comfortable no matter what you're doing. I'm on my 3rd pair and 2nd of this generation. I've backcountry hiked in these for 3 days on end as well as pushed them through a few 14ers.... great quality , construction and comfort!

These trail shoes are fantastic. Work great for hiking and long trail training runs. Lots of protection from rocks, roots, and any other challenge that you will find on trails. These even grip great in the snow (within reason). Normally wear a 10.5, but were too tight in this shoe, so I had to exchange for an 11. Great shoes at a great STP price. Thanks again.

Love the shoes. They are super comfortable and I feel safe wearing them on the trails, no slipping worries. I like the cushioning provided by Brooks Beast but the Cascadia seem softer, lighter and faster.

I bought these for light hiking while recovering from an injury. I replaced the foot beds to give them a little more torsional stiffness. So far they have been sure footed on even steep and rough trails of the Wasatch Front. I plan to try running in them when I'm able again and see them as candidates for ultralight backpacking.

Originally bought for trail running but live in suburban SoCal and the Cascadia's have become my go to shoe for pounding the pavement when sidewalks are the only option. The cushion feels good at the 4 mile mark of a 10k. I'm a mild pronator with high arches and tend to strike heels but my feet have yet tp feel fatigue or discomfort in the Cascadias. I also own a pair of Glycerin 11's and Ravenna 4's which are both nice but feet feel the impact on the concrete sooner. I run in the Ravenna's for 5k races and the heel cushion is awesome, they are lighter, and seem a bit faster but the Cascadia's have earned their place on the concrete and trails.
