This is a really cute Skirt but it is cut for a square shape. The waist fits but there's no room for butt or thighs. So if you have a less "curvy" shape this would be great...

Size down from the STP geneic womens' chart shown with this product. Originally ordered size 6, and risked exchanging for size 2 because I liked it so much. Amazingly, the waistband is STILL comfortably loose, and I'm no size 2. It is meant to ride below natural waist, but the waistband is still generous on my high hip, so it hangs 3-4 fingers below my navel. Measuring the Size 2: waistband: 30.5", hem circumfrence:39.5", length: 16', rear split 4". On me, the skirt sits 3-4 fingers below my navel. Excellent travel fabric, fine twill weave, light noise but doesn't scream nylon at all, wash cold. Stretch is on bias and verticle, not horozontal stretch.Outstanding pockets with depth to really hold stuff - new android or iphone will fit easily! Best of al, it has a stealth 5th zippered pocket on the right hip sized to hold ID, cash, creditcard. Hidden and secure.Versitile enough to hike in and then throw on sandals to head out for a refreshing beverage.
