I fished this for a day on a lake and caught plenty of fish using floating running line and this head. However, this line is more opaque than other clear intermediates I have in larger sizes which are more clear to the eye. Additionally, these heads run a bit light so like most intermediates I would "line-up" at least 2 sizes if not 3.

These caveats included, the price alone makes it worth it if you need an intermediate line for your shooting head system.
