Haven't really used it yet, but the knife is sharp and you can use it for more than just pizza. Like cheese or something.

This is not just a pizza cutter. It can be used to cut many other items.
It reminds me of an ulu knife, only larger and with an attached cover.
No more rotary cutters for me!

This is a great product. It easily cuts through pizza. The pizza no longer slides around on the pan when you slice, and it is easy to apply enough force to cut through the crust on the first try. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because it seems like you could cut yourself when cleaning it if you are not careful. The blade swings around for safe storage, but when it is in the swinging position, you do need to watch out. It is, after all, a sharp knife. Overall, an excellent kitchen tool!

To make the slicer more compact and protect blade when stored, you simply pull the ringed end of blade from the spring clip and rotate around and clip back into handle - great design. The handle is plastic but sturdy and feels just right in hand while cutting. The blade is short, only 6.5".

This blade is not particularly sharp, but sharp enough to cut through dough.I'm sure you can sharpen it if it isn't sharp enough for you.

I would have given 5 stars if the blade was a few inches longer.
