I have used Icebreaker products for under- and outerwear and swear by them. I use them for hiking in Washington and field work in Alaska as well as hiking in New Zealand. My grandsons also use them for farm work, field work in Alaska, going to school, and just for keeping warm. These are extremel... Read More

Icebreaker merino wool products are great. Bought this for my wife and she loves it.

I have bought 3 different brands to compare: Smartwool, Terramar, and this one. Guess which one is the worst? Icebreaker. It is see through. It is not woven as well as the other two. I'd rather pay more and get a quality product.

I love these Icebreaker tops. They are expensive, but so much nicer than synthetic thermals, yuck!

This is the perfect lightweight under layer, hardly noticeable under clothing and as warm as can be. It has the usual Icebreaker quality of construction. I do wear this everyday along with the botoms which I like as much as the top.

I want a couple more sets, will get as soon as I can. I bought them for a base layer when bicycling. I could wear them every day. Comfortable, and attractive. Fit me well. I'm 5'4 and 132.

  • Question “What color is cherub? Is it a dark pinkish color? Hard to tell on my screen.”
Asked on 11/18/2014 2:20:41 PM by redgate from Maryland
    • Answer Yes, dark pink. Sort of bright deep if that makes any sense. Not flourescent but a pretty sort of hot pink color. Definitely the pink family vs reddish or burgundy.

    • Answer I got the bluish color, so don't know what "Cherub" is. From what I know the reddish version, iti's likely more of a lighter maroonish color I'll bet....it's more of a darker, dusty maroon. I want another one of these lower-priced sweaters, as it works not only as a base-layer, but I bought it in a larger size and it drapes nicely with shape for a stand alone piece!
Answered on 11/18/2014 5:44:23 PM by Momika from Idaho
    • Answer It's a dark pinkish red, more pink tone than red, but some might call it red.
Answered on 11/18/2014 11:21:37 PM by Picky Shopper from Cali
    • Answer No idea about cherub. Bought a blue top

    • Answer I don't have the sangria to compare it to, but I'm happy with my dark blue color. The neckline fits as pictured.
Answered on 10/2/2014 7:59:50 PM by Picky Shopper from Cali
    • Answer I can't speak for the other colors, but I have this shirt in Sangria and the neckline is exactly as depicted - it fits comfortably around my neck - not so tight that it is constricting, and not too wide so that my collar bones get drafty. The fabric is nice and stretchy as well, so it fits easily over my head.

I would venture to guess that the colors all have similar necklines, so go for the color that is most appealing to you - or try them all and return the rejects (returns are easy on STP)!

    • Answer I only have ordered the horizon color, so can't help you there! Sorry. These are great sweaters though!
