This is my second pair of Ariat Sport Clogs. The first pair lasted at least 10 years, the last five I used them at work on a Ranch. I fell in love with Ariats after my first pair that I bought for a show. I was on my feet all weekend on cement floors and my feet didn't hurt, a first. I have high arc... Read More

I am familiar with Ariat quality and this was not it. The left shoe appeared slightly worn and the heel/shoe was actually lower than the right. It was obvious when I put them on that something was not right. I felt off balance and when I put the shoes on a table and looked at them from the back, it was immediately apparent that the left shoe/heel was lower. Needless to say, they were returned. Shame, because otherwise they would have fit me.

The name "clogs" is a little misleading, because they are a slip-on shoe. The fit is true to size and the shoes are very comfortable.

This was just what I was looking for--a casual slip-on with good quality leather. I am a fairly standard B-width, and it fit like a glove from the first time I tried it on. I do recommend polishing before use, because the leather will absorb water and stain. I want them to develop character, but not overnight!

I had previously purchased these shoes in black and have worn them nearly daily for walks and around town. Nice compromise between a boot and shoes in appearance with slacks. They fit well with my orthotics and are true to size with good amount of room in the toe box. Look forward to the same utiity and comfort with the luggage color pair.

I've been wearing Ariat shoes and boots for 20 yrs. My only complaint is that they are no longer made in the USA. I really wish Ariat would bring their manufacturing back home.
That said, Ariat shoes are always fashionable, comfortable, and well-wearing.
When they come back the U.S. I'll give them 5 stars.

  • Question “Do these have a removable footbed? Do they have arch support? Thanks.”
Asked on 11/25/2014 12:27:46 AM by Suzanne from Mississippi
    • Answer I don't know if the footbeds come out in this shoe; I didn't think of trying that trick when I bought them, I ended up returning this shoe and buying a Munro shoe from STP, and that shoe did have a removeable footbed. On the Munro shoe there is a little elastic so if you have a high top of the foot it stretches where the Ariat shoe did not. Both shoes are well made and very nice looking.

    • Answer The footbed is NOT removable but these have superb arch support. I have recently had 3 surgeries on one foot & these feel great! I had bought Ariats before (11 yrs. ago) in a similar style & loved them.

    • Answer yes you can remove the foot bed. i find these shoes very comfortable and solid. for me they have adequate arch support. Not as much arch support as my Birkenstocks but not flat either.

    • Answer While I could pull up the side of the foot bed, it appears to be securely fastened to the clog. It has a great arch support and that's something I really need.

These don't look like my vision of a "clog". They are beautiful and extremely comfortable. I love them.

    • Answer The shoes do not have a removable footbed. They do have a little arch support, but I put in Birkenstock arch supports and they work well.

    • Answer No, the footbed is not removable. The arch support is good.
