I bought a pair of these a couple years ago to use for camping during winter. I always have trouble staying warm at night during winter camping trips, but these overalls kept me nice and toasty. They work so well, that I bought a second pair and also the lined carhart jacket to go with them.

These bibs are great, especially for the sale price! I use them when I'm out in the barn on winter days and they are keeping me nice and warm. I'm 5'5" 135 lbs and I got the size small in regular length - they are a touch too long, but otherwise they fit perfectly! The snaps are a little tough to close, but I don't really care and I just leave them undone. The zippers work and seem durable, so that's the important part for me!

Great overalls for working outside in cold weather. I'm 5 ft and about 120 pounds and ordered a small in the short size. They are a little wide and about 4 inches too long in the legs and a few inches in the torso. I have Carhartt jeans in 2 short and 4 short sizes which are perfect so not sure why these are so much longer. I really liked how warm they are and how they were made so didn't send them back. After wearing them a few times I realized they were too big to be comfortable and my boyfriend ended up using them. I found that the men's 28 inch inseam coveralls fit much better in length.

I wish my 3 year old self had reminded my 30-something year old self just how comfy overalls are sooner!! I couldn't figure out what makes these seconds, I haven't noticed any flaws yet. Only complaint would be that the elastic waist (along the back) isn't adjustable, so I couldn't wear anything heavier than a fleece underneath without it being uncomfortable. That's not a huge deal, however, as I could always throw a coat on over them if it were really frigid out. Zipper & snaps seem sturdy. Lots of pockets!! So far I haven't done anything too crazy in them, just mucked out the chicken coop, done some yard work (leaves), taken down a few trees (with a hand saw) & put up a tarp to keep our hay dry. So nothing like operating a chainsaw which could test out the double-front (flying wood chips). But I'm not worried as my husband has some double-front Carhartts that he's worn while taking down trees with a chainsaw & never had an issue.

My only complaint would be that STP sold out of them, & I want to buy a second pair. ;) (And I'm too frugal to spend $100 at Tractor Supply, so I'll just keep checking STP & hope they get more in)

    • Answer you will definitely want a small. I am 5'4" and about 135. I got the short medium and the are very loose - easy to wear over other pants or jeans. I LOVE them when I am working outside in the cold though! I have another pair of Carhartt waterproof pants that are a size small and STILL fit over other pants. These are definitely made large enough to wear over other clothing. I probably could have gotten a small short in these bibs if it was available, but the medium is fine.

    • Answer I am 5'6" and weigh 140 , I wear a size small and inseam "short",don't know if that's a 30" or not but get the shortest you can get! you cannot hem them, these do run big but are the best cold weather garment you can wear

    • Answer Small would probably work for you. We do have small in the short inseam. According to the product specs above: Inseam: Short 30", Regular 31", Long 32"

    • Answer My normal size is a 12-14 which coincides with a size large in most cases, but my inseam is around 33" , so often average lengths are a bit short. I bought these overalls in a size LARGE, tall length. They fit well and have more than enough length. I'm not sure I would order a smaller size than your normal size. The material is heavy and durable, and might be a bit constrictive if tight. I think you will want a bit of room in this type of pant to allow for freedom of movement. Also, I often slip mine on over jeans or sweat pants, and a little extra room helps with that too.

    • Answer They say----Inseam: Short 30", Regular 31", Long 32"----but I guarantee the short one I had ordered were at least 34 inches long. I already sent them back or I would measure them and tell you exactly. I don't know if they are all like that ...or just my luck with the pair I received. Hope you have better results.
