This is comparable to the MSR cook set. Kovea, which is made in Korea is built extremely well. Korea is known for it's steel and this product is no exception. Highly recommend and with the STP price, you cannot beat this deal!

Was hoping for larger skillet & pots. I couldn't make breakfast for three in the fry pan, a challenge for two.

Very pleased with this set overall. Appears to be good quality and durable. Used this last weekend and clean up is a breeze, great non stick coating that doesn't look like it will flake off into your food. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be, especially the frying pan but will work well for backpacking or 2 person BWCA canoeing trips.

I have not been able to use this camping yet but do have a few initial impressions.
-appears to be of thicker material, definitely not thin and cheap feeling.
-I am leery of the plastic knobs on pot tops and plastic on the pot handle. Not sure how they will hold up under heat, especially the handles
-handle on one pot was loose, not broken but flopped around rather than having tension
All in all this set is a very good value, I used a STP coupon which made it a steal. I have no regrets in buying the set and would do so again.
I will try and update my review after use.

    • Answer It all packs down together and has a mesh carry bag to hold it. The largest pot sits in the fry pan, the other pot and items sit inside the large pot. "Largest" & "large" are relative here. None of the pots were near large enough for the car camping that we do. I would use it for backpacking and it is light, but it will take up a fair sized corner in a pack. If you're distributing items between fellow hikers, this shouldn't be a problem.
