I wore them today for the first time and hiked 7 miles trail up and down the hill and over the stream...walked on rocks, mud and sand...my feet felt great! These boots were the most comfortable hiking boots I've ever owned, and I am an experienced hiker and shopper. I love every pair of shoes, sand... Read More

I do love me a pair of Chacos. These are my first pair of hiking boots. I prefer shoes. However I still feel like I have full range of motion in my ankles. So far these are really comfortable. I look forward to getting on a trail soon!

I generally order a size 7 in boots so I can wear thicker socks. These run really small and unfortunately they don't have the next size up. I usually order a 7 in boots and would have needed a 7.5 in these.
other than that, they were wonderful and hopefully they will carry the size I need.

The boots are really comfortable, and help to avoid to keep wet socks.

These shoes are super comfortable and true to size. They are super cushioned and provide lots of arch and ankle support, which is what I was looking for. Haven't worn them hiking yet, but have been wearing them to work to break them in, and they hardly need it. I think they'll do great on the mountain.

I got both the shoe pair and these boots--sent the shoe back as these seemed sturdier. I normally wear an 8 in Chacos -- could have used an 8.5 on these -- I feel they're a tiny bit shorter and narrower than the typical 8, but are breaking in ok. They have a nice arch support that prevents pronation and they look good too. The feel is different to my feet than some other Chacos -- haven't been tested on the waterproof part yet. Versatile enough but nothing compared to the adaptability of the now-deceased but wonderful PedShed.
