Royal Robbins' are my favorite short sleeve button up shirts, bar none. The fabric of this shirt is what really stands out among the others from R.R. As the description says it has a really nice "drape"; this is true. The fabric is a little thicker than most on R.R. shirts but as soft as a puppy's...

I ordered 2 of these shirts on 1/15/2015 and liked them so much that I ordered another 9 days later. I really like the feel and appearance of these shirts so have worn and washed them probably 20 to 30 times each. This month one shirt started fraying at all the edges (collar, sleeves, and bottom), with some frayed threads hanging 2 to 3 inches long. I have washed these shirts according to the instructions, using a gentle front load washing machine, no bleach, and low heat for drying. I have never before had a problem with Royal Robbins clothing or a Sierra Trading Post purchase but was disappointed to find per phone call with STP, that their "Satisfaction Guaranteed" policy only means that you can return like-new products within 90 days. Oh well!

I love the feel of the fabric, but it runs small if you have much of a chest. It fits my shoulders fine, but is tight around the torso. I'm a large in almost every other brand, but need a large.5 in the RR.
I believe that they look better not tucked in

I have three of these shirts, which I wear to work in the summer. I always tuck them in, although I suppose the square hem would allow you to wear them untucked. The tails are long enough that I don't have problems with them becoming untucked. As a bonus (for me, anyway), the fabric is soft enough and heavy enough that these are one of the few shirts that don't compel me to wear an undershirt with them.

They have a square bottom and notches on the side so I would say they are designed to wear untucked. However, I can't imagine what would prevent any shirt from being tucked in, including this one.
